Did you already purchase the Alpines ?? Alpine is a decent speaker, but they have a very low 'sensitivity',..............so to sound good, they need a lot of power.
If you haven't bought any speakers yet, the Infinity Kappa 60.11cs are a really nice speaker, and are only 2 ohm. They have a lower frequency, and better sensitivity, ( take less power to produce loud sound).
The Polk Audio MM651 are also a nice speaker. Only 2.7 ohm, lower frequency & much better sensitivity.
