Ipod not recognized

Mine had done the iPod not recognize thing a couple of times.
The fix (not permanent) is:
Ignition off, hold softkeys 1 and 3 on the radio, and turn the ignition on (diagnostics mode on the HK.
Press soft button 1 to go into the reset menu and reset the radio.
This will erase all of your preset radio stations, and also reset the iPod interface.
If I have to do it one more time, I'm buying the HDPDplus interface from Iron Cross Audio, and use the Harley version as a target for my Ruger LC9.
For Monzie's problem (mine does that too)..... just tap the up/down switch to cycle songs up or down 4 or 5 times. That usually fixes mine. Beats pulling over and reseating the cable.
