Default Sound System for 2012 Street Glide

I recently purchased a Rockford & Fosgate PBR300X4 Amp on Amazon. and a pair of 5 1/4 Polk Audio speakers for the front farring. Sounded good for about 2wks.
One of the speakers blew out and the amp as well. Well I have an extended warranty from Best Buy for the speakers...I dont anticipate any problems getting them replaced however; I'm having doubts about putting 5 1/4 Polk Audios back into my bike. I'm considering their 6.5 or just go with something else all together such as JBL's. oddly enough I do feel pretty good about the amp. Any suggestions?

If you're going to use that amp, you will have to use 4 ohm speakers. I highly suggest going with 6.5" speakers, the 5.25's are no comparison in sound quality. The Biketronics Titan's or BT7P1 would be my choice. They both come with adapters and a lifetime warranty. If you are just planning on sticking with two speakers, I would sell the 4ch and p/u a PBR300x2. It puts out twice the power at 2 ohms and in that case I recommend the Polk MM651's.
