Danj,
Not a CD player, but I'm impressed with the DSX line of Sony HUs. I have the DSX-210x (no bluetooth) and it has an awesome tune tray that you can drop your iPod/iPhone into and control the playlists from the handlebars. I also picked up the splash guard from BT.
I went this route because the only time I used the CD in the HK unit was to upgrade the firmware...
Take a peek at Crutchfield or Sony's website for more info. Good luck, and congrats on the new tunes!
Personally I prefer Kenwood head units over all of them but I like Sony as well mainly because of the feature set vs price point. The other thing to keep in mind is Sony head units are more compatible than any other with the Hawg-Wired/Biketronics handlebar controls modules. All the features you mention below are available on most of the Sony units as well as all others. The one I use is the Sony DSX-S310BTX. I like the tune-tray for my iPod as I don't use CDs or listen to FM. The bluetooth IMO is worth it as well although I don't use it hardly ever but it is nice to have your GPS turn by turn coming through where you can hear it not to mention being able to stream pandora
