Static on all inputs
I have barely had my SG a month and the stereo is jacked up. It started when I had me iPhone hooked up via auxiliary port I noticed the volume decrease so I turned it up not thinking anything of it till it decreased some more until I couldn't hear it. So I got to where I was going an noticed it sounded like I was in the FM input and tuned to no station (only static) so I instantly go into troubleshooting mode and think its gotta be this $3 male to male 1/8" cable not the stereo on my new $20k bike. So I switched to the CD input and same thing FM, AM, WB all the same nothing but static unless you turn it up to max volume then you barely hear the music through the static. So seeing as I have this new bike with a warranty I take it to the dealer instead of creaking into the fairing myself. But before i got it to the dealer it started working fine again. I took the bike in for the 5k service and I told the mechanic exactly what I just typed out. And he says "huh". So I came back later that day to pick my bike up and he told me they checked all connections and grounds everything looks good. So I ride away with a smile. Two days later my stereo starts up again. Has anyone had this problem? I searched and didn't see anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I did just that recorded the static on multiple inputs. I thought maybe the amp was going bad. I had a 5 channel in my truck that got liquid spilt on it. Had a similar random static but much more popping and cracking on the 5 channel. I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow so we will see.
