for the guys that had there 14s flashed how long did it take the dealer to do it for you?
i called my local HD dealer and they said i had to make an apt for late next week. before i lose my **** on the service manager was wondering how long this process takes.
i assumed you plug something in crunch a couple numbers and your done.
i have the magic box waiting for the rca cable figured i might get it flashed and see how it sounds but it sounds like i should just wait for the cable and forget the flash .
The shop Forman invited me into the shop while my bike was in for 1k and the audio aux flash. He assumed I knew more about the infotainment then he did so he had me show him what I wanted him to do. The flash literally takes 30seconds once they have the side cover off and the digital tech plugged in. After the flash you have to turn off the bike for more than 10 seconds and then turn it back on to check and see if you accomplished what you wanted. We flashed my bike for the 3rd aux input and them tried all the other amp/speaker flashes the digital tech had and that took all of 10 minutes total. That's with screwing around with the bike and checking the speakers etc.

thanks monty that is what i was thinking. i was hoping to flash it before a trip i had this weekend and compare it to the magic box with out the flash but since it seems like my dealer is going to be a PIA i will just wait for the rca input harness from rockford to come in.
As long as everything is up and running before laconia next weekend i will be happy.
i will keep everyone posted once im done
thanks again
