ah ok.. just making sure of the 4 ohm spec for this amp. we need to determine which fuse is blown before proceeding. Hopefully these clowns installed a fuse at the battery. there is also a fuse on the amp itself.
If the fuse that blew is at the battery, odds are there is a short somewhere in that battery wire.
if the fuse the blew is at the amp, then you might have an issue with the amp itself.
Can you tell me what fuse is blown?
They have the bike right now and I'll hopefully know by the end of the day. I am traveling too much right now to take it apart myself. These guys (Gail's HD in KCMO) have done a great job on everything they have installed so far and I am assuming it is just one of those things.
They did the stereo work at the same time they did my SE stage IV install so there was lots going on and maybe something got missed or was loose etc.
I was stressed out about it because I am shipping my bikes back home (Oregon) next week and everything else installed on the bike is Harley and covered under the 5 year extended warranty, this is the only non Harley items and I'm sure my local dealer in Portland would charge to fix it. Plus I don't want the hassle.
But as I said they are a stand up dealership and picked up the bike last night with a trailer and are bringing it back Friday night.
