did you check out the Hogtunes lids that Pez came out with? IMO they're better than the CVO lids for 2 reasons;
1. they have the drain channels molded into the plastic
2. they allow the addition of any 6x9 without the use of specialized adapters
Thought about it, but I like that I can order the CVO lids already painted and don't know if the drain will be a big difference maker with me using the Biketronics 6x9's. If they go bad because of water, I get a new set with the warranty. Still haven't decided. Have another month or two before winter to decide.
If Dragonfly doesn't come through with the head unit, what is a good unit to use with the Biketronics kit that has a tune tray for a USB sick, adjustable equalizer, good daylight display visibility, and possibly marine grade or water resistant?
just talked to Kevin.. Tooling was completed on this head unit just before Sturgis. The manufacturer stated 60 days from tooling being completed to production. So I wouldn't be surprised to see this head unit in the next 3 weeks or so...
I just put one of the DSX-MS60 Sony headunit in a RoadGlide last weekend and it was clearly visible in broad daylight.

Everything on that Sony looks good except for the 2V preouts.
