I am the "mod or admin" that removed the thread at the time because they are/were a sponsor here and we had no clue for sure at that time what was going on. It's very apparent what is going on now so I will ask that the thread be moved back to it's original location. Stay tuned on that.
Me getting my speakers back was nothing short of Kevin himself being a stand-up guy. They were sent to him on my dime to test against the new focal 7x10 speakers and to be honest I never expected to see them again. I figured he'd tear them up in his testing.
Despite what you guys all think, these are still people. Bad things happen to good people, but that doesn't make them less of a person. I understand you're all out tons of money and hopefully for you all, some kind of resolve will come from it and I wish you all the best in obtaining that end result.
Ultra, All the respect in the world for ya, brother. Thanks for the encuraging words and getting that thread turned back on, and I agree that 'they are still people' but the post right below yours from Tee Bagger confirms that SOMEONE at Dragonfly is STILL accepting payments from people, even three months into this fiasco, and not returning calls/messages. I am sorry for anyone that worked for Kevin that got wrapped in this mess, or even Kevin if one of his employees somehow sandbagged him. However, just judging from evidence of the last 2 months, I don't think anyone could substantiate that these are 'stand-up people'. Maybe they are, but I'm not seeing it.This is BAD magic going on....
Regards,
John

well I'm assuming the reason the site is up is they simply walked away from everything.
as for the sponsorship here on the forums, I would think it would stay in place until a 100% confirmation has been determined either way but that's really left up to the folks who run the IB websites.
I ordered speaker rings off eBay...got shipping confirmation with in hours....from kevin at dragonfly. Oh no.... that was last friday. Today I checked the tracking number he gave me...its not found. Oh no... sent Kevin an email this morning requesting an update..... nothing yet. ...oh no.
Iam crossing my fingers, ill keep you all updated.
Well, the adapters showed up last night!! Woo hoo! Never got a response from Kevin... and usps tracking went from no info available to delivered in the same day. I got them on ebay for $34...other vendors selling them for $49. Maybe he is unloading what left???? Oh well...glad I got mine!
USPS is absolutely the worst for tracking info. Gov't would rather spend billions on ObamaCouldCareLess
Yeah, you're right. I just started working for the post office a few months ago. Of course, it didn't take working on the onside to know I can get better tracking from the neighborhood barber shop than USPS. In defense, I would say that there would be a lot more money for USPS to build more reliable systems if congress hadn't taken over and forced them to spend billions anually on insurance policies dating 70 years out. More government involvement in ANYTHING is never a good thing...
