CVORoadKing2013, thanks a lot for all your input. I am headed to the dealer on Friday and will most def insist on watching what they do. Can you tell me what your full setup is? Front speakers only? Amp? Stage II speakers?
Perfect, I will shoot for your settings. One last thing, does your radio play sound when the switch is in the accessory position? Maybe you already answered this, sorry if it's a repeat.

Can't say I have tried. I will check in the morning and let you know
Just went threw this and had some of the same issues as you
Sounds like you got the wrong download like I did .
I originally had 192_off.bin
This came out to the dealer downloading speakers only no amp
You want. Stage2/ tier2 /upper fairing
If everything is done right it should be 208_0ff.bin
Once this was done my system sounded much better and it can be heard at speed( or at least I can in my rgs with a 14" windvest )
Prior to the right download I was ready to pull the system and get a refund
CVORoadKing2013,
When you check your radio this morning to see if you have sound in the Accessory position, can you also check to see if you are getting 208_0ff.bin when the bike is off and when it's running? Reading last night it appears the bin file can be different when the bike is on vs off. At least that is what I thought I read.

In the Accessory position my radio works
Not sure how to check the .bin file when the bike is running. So if you have a procedure to check please let me know.

That's good to hear you do have sound in the accessory position. I was hoping that was your answer. As for checking the .bin with the bike running you sort of do it the same way. Hold the mute/power button then start the bike. Don't let go of the button until you hit the accept button on the startup screen. Then release and you should be at the same diag screen.
So interestingly enough I went to go for a ride this evening... turned the switch on and listen to the radio for a minute and it was very loud at just under half. Then as soon as I started the bike the volume cut to where I almost couldn't hear it. Well I figured it was the AVC so I went into settings and it was on 4.. Cycled it all the way down to off, backed out of the screen then right back into the settings screen, turned the AVC back to 4. Volume was 100% back with the bike running. Sound was amazing! So who knows what the problem really is. Flash? AVC which is probably software? Well at least I know how to get sound back up to where it should be. As for anyone questioning Boom Stage II, I'd have to say it sounds amazing when it's working right.
Now if the dealer can get the sound to work in Accessory mode I might actually be happy!
