Infinity Kappa 62.11 do not fit out of the box. They should be fine with a 1/2" spacer - but you lose 1" of precious butt space.
Infinity Reference (I think 6032) do not fit. But they would go in with a 1/8" spacer. They make a "shallow" Reference 6032, and that would fit easily.
What does fit are the Alpine SPR-60. The Neodynium magnet is the answer to this tight space.
I'm doing my fairing speakers next week. Maybe Focal, maybe another set of SPR-60's - we shall see. The shop has a CNC machine to make any spacers or rigging.
Also...I am thinking of replacing the radio with an Alpine deck, a pretty high-end one. I'll also have the ASWC installed, so I should maintain my handlebar controls. Does anybody have any thoughts one way or the other about an aftermarket head unit in one of these bikes?
Cheers!

FYI to all those that have software version 1.19.1. The third position of the AVC (3 bars) has an issue or bug. The symptom is your volume will be lower than normal when the bike is running, then if you cycle the AVC to off then back to 3 this volume will be loud again. To avoid having to cycle the AVC off then back on every time you start the bike, leave it in any position but three. I put mine in 4 and the AVC works fine even after shutting off the bike and turning back on a day later.
This is a known bug, that after complaining to the Motor Corp they admitted to me. They say it will be fixed in the next version.
Just took delivery yesterday afternoon on a '15 Limited.
When I went for a ride after getting it home and doing most of the "set up" I just selected "go Home". Worked fine but two issues came up that I am wondering if I missed in the set up. Is there an 'auto zoom" feature and can the "recalculate" be set to a manual position? I am migrating from a Zumo 660 and am hopeful............
Thanks.
Just picked up a low mileage 2014 SGS at my local dealer. They told me only mod was new speakers in the fairing. The radio sounds pretty good except I can't turn up bass past 3 bars from the left without major distortion... that and the AVC doesn't seem to work.
Looking closely at the speakers I see they are the Hogtunes 6.5. Thinking that just speakers alone would not cause these issues I pull of the front fairing and see a nice looking Hogtunes amp.
The bike is set to bin file 01_OFF. I called Hogtunes to see if they recommend a configuration that would give me a different bin file and they said they don't recommend a reflash.. that their amps are designed to use the stock flash.
Anybody running the Hogtunes 2 speaker kit and can shed any light?

01_OFF.BIN is what I had as my stock flash so seems you have not been flashed. Maybe you can try cyclesounds magic box. It is like $70. Goes between radio and amp I believe.

Isn't there a gain setting on the amp? I don't know that amp. But all the amps I looked at over the past couple weeks (which were suitable for motorcycle) had gain settings to be used at line- or speaker-level signal.
I just put in an ARC Audio amp and Focal speakers. I can turn the stock head unit all the way up. And I am using speaker-level into the amp. I'd expect similar results from the HogTunes.
looking to upgrade the audio speakers but after all these pages...still confused a bit of what aftermarket audio y'all going with
Kappa?
Focal?
J&M?
Biketronics?
Hertz?
Help a audiophile out pls
You are not alone being confused. It's mind boggling and overwhelming to read all of this stuff. It's easier to leave everything stock unless you just take the bike to the dealer for the boom and have them do everything!
