I suspect and this is only me but I suspect JM can't really offer a lifetime warranty because they don't make the amp. Since they buy it from Arc (or from whomever makes it for Arc). Thus when it needs a repair it has to be shipped to JM, then they have to ship it to the manufacturer, manufacturer back to JM, JM back to the customer. After the amp broke a few times out of warranty they'd be losing a significant amount of money because the manufacturer has stopped making the repairs for free. The maker would have to offer a lifetime warranty to J&M before they can offer one to you is my guess. Now why the maker of that amp doesn't have enough confidence in the amp to offer a lifetime warranty is the question. I believe because Biketronics builds the amp and does all of their own repairs they can offer the lifetime warranty. Like I said before if the product was not stellar in the first place a lifetime warranty wouldn't mean Boo to me but all Biketronics products are of exceptional quality and performance sooooo it means everything to me. I can still be using that amp 3 bikes from now and if I want to put it in my next car. Having said all that I do have to say J&M has excellent customer service, a great reputation, and great sound. John is a very nice fella and has always been kind and helpful to me! Is just a brass tacks thing to me 2 excellent amps... one with 2 year warranty one with a lifetime warranty...it's an easy decision for me. This is all just my opinion

Let's not forget the 6.5's in the rear pods. I want to go all BT speakers and amp.
Interestingly,Mike at BikeTronics said to really just focus on the front and use the rear for feed over. Told him I wasn't interested in showing off just want good tunes,I'm only worried about my ears.Have to change the rear pods if you want those Titans back there and those aren't available yet to my knowledge. However As Monty stated those CS67 Kickers work fine back there.

I already got the J&M Amp for the 14 SG, got the 4 channel one b/c I added the BOOM Audio saddle bag speakers in the lids. My question is; I did not change the fairing speakers so they are the stock BOOM Audio. I was told the amp was more important than replacing the speakers. Am I going to regret not changing them or will they be okay? Also; does it matter if I change the fairing speaker and keep the rear Boom? It is currently all tore to hell and if I replace the fairing speakers I want to do it now vs. later.

Yes. You'll want to change them. The stock HD speakers are garbage. Once you hear your system with your favorite music and quality speakers you'll get it.
I agree with Monty. Change them absolutely! Not to stir a hornets nest but I would recommend the Biketronics speakers. They sound unbelievable and have a lifetime warranty. If that's not enough... when you can throw some 6x9's in the rear deck lids and it'll sound even better.
