Got 4 Kappas en route
went with grills and pod adapters from VTWIN Audio--cleaner look in the back vs spacer and speaker
last decision is soundstream pn4.520d (100$) -ebay
or 2 RF pbr300x2's (304) --amazon
I did the same as you. Speakers will be here tomorrow and I have to order the V-Twin front grills and rear pod adapters tonight.
UN helped me on the amp decision and I ordered the soundstream last night which will also be here tomorrow. I was also thinking of the 2 RF's as UN and others say you won't lose FM reception, which wasn't a big deal for me but if I can keep it by going this route... I just didn't think it would be a big deal for me.

UN said yes you will lose FM. UN gave me a good suggestion to replace the speakers first and see how I like the upgrade w/o the amp. May not need to go any further. With all of the issues I've been reading about the new flash at HD, I may want to wait to see how this works out before I end up making changes to my ride and another level of frustration .

On the 2014 15 bikes, what kind of plugs are being used for the radio output to the amp input for 4 channels?
What amp are you using? And assuming you are using the stock HU.
For the front, on the SS amp I used male disconnects. There are two differant sizes, if you cannot find the smaller size the larger ones can be cut or filed down to fit. Then crimp them on to the high input plug wires that came with the amp. The disconnects get plugged into the existing female speaker wire plugs that go to the speakers. No cutting of wires for the front. Then run 16g wire from the speakers to the amp output.
