I've been out of town all week. I'll call tomorrow.

Particulars.
2010 FLHTK.
Stock HK stereo
Updated to:
Rokker 500W amp
Rokker 7.25 front speakers with Crossover
Rokker 5.25 Rear Speakers
The problem is the system cuts out. Starting cold I can turn it on, start increasing the volume and when I get to about 70% power it pops and cuts out. Dead silence.
If during that run up about 50% or so I get a loud passage it it will also pop and cut out.
J&M shipped me a replacement amp. It was installed today and the problem is still there. I'll ship them back the original tomorrow.
I have never updated the firmware on the stereo. I will do that tomorrow.
I'm almost certain its the stereo but never saw any issue prior to the amp install.
Im going with a bad ground on this one or a loose or bad fuse holder possibly. Sounds like when you have a larger current draw than usual is when this is happening leading me to believe its wiring related

The ground is solid to the frame per J&M directions. Might be the fuse. The replacement amp did not come with new power/ground/speaker wires so what was in there originally is still there.
I"ll pull the fuse this evening and replace.
I ran the diagnostics on the HK stereo and if I ran them and read it correctly its throwing no codes.
1. Replace the fuse on the amp power cord and and see if the problem goes away.
If not:
2. Per JMJohn's suggestion pull the speakers off line 1 at a time, crank it up and see if the problem goes away. If not I'll take it a bit further and take the front pair offline then the back pair off line. Might even do left and right channel.
For whatever reason I can't update my radio. It sits there "verifying volume" and never does anything.
Unplugged right front speaker. Problem does not exhibit.
Plugged back in front right, unplugged left front. Problem still exhibits.
Unplugged both front. Problem does not exhibit.
Plugged the left front back in, left the right front unplugged. Kid Rock's "bawitdaba" at 100% power and me with ear plugs. Problem does not exhibit through several full plays.

Looks like a bad speaker.
well there ya go man.. troubleshooting at it's finest....glad you got it figured out.
Speakers delivered and installed. Problem seems to be solved. I cranked it up 100% in my outside storage (brick construction) and came inside my house (also brick construction) and sat inside listening to it. Sounded pretty good.
