I am seriously considering having this done. I want the EXACT setup that came with the Ultras. All Harley. Has anyone on here had this done recently and can answer these questions:
1. Can this install duplicate the Ultra? Including the plug in behind the fuel cap and rear plug in for the passenger?
2. Exactly what was the total cost? Am I looking at about $1,000?
I have searched this site and can find nothing mentioned about this.

It CAN be done, but how involved rides on several factors...Starting with what year is your EGC?
Sorry, should have included that info. It's a 2010 and dealer has told me the radio should already have the connection for the CB Module.
Yes. It being a newer bike its not as difficult as if it were pre 08. You'l need the Ultra overlay harness, CB module, tank console to start. I'd visit the dealer and ask a knowledgeable parts guy. Theres a few other things you'll need as well. Keep in mind you wont have passenger controls unless you get the rear speaker pods also. The Overlay harness includes the wiring for rear speakers. You'll also have to get your HK radio flashed.
I've got the stock pods too with allt he controls and Polk MM651 speakers in them but I already promised them to someone here locally. If he doesn't take them I'll let you know as well. I'll know for sure Saturday...
