Default HDPDPlus 2 Ipod
Hello Audio Experts,

I have a question about the otmt HDPDPlus2. I have looked at some videos from otmt and others after the ipod controller is installed. When they show the front of the radio, there is not an option for "AUX". If I install this ipod controller, do I lose the ability to connect and use the front "AUX" port for other devices?

I don't think the AUX option shows up until something is plugged into it.

Thanks for the info. I think you are right. I leave a cable plugged into mine so it shows all the time.

Once the iPod interface is installed, it will show up on your screen as "iPod". You can still use your Aux input on the face of the radio for something else if you want no problem.

yup when I installed it ipod is in the menu now. It works good and i'm happy with it.

On mine I use a 30pin to lightning adapter and it works fine with the 5 and 5s iPhone.

Just chiming in here on the HDPDplus 2. One of the best upgrades I did. LOVE this for my trike!!

Just curious as to where you folks put your ipod when plugged in? Right now I just tuck it back into the wire loop. Kinda ghetto but works...
