Default Question about 6x9 options

I had a question about amp and speaker selection on my 09 Street Glide. I am going with the BT 7.1 in fairing and whats my options for the HT lids? The TS-D6902r pioneers cant get wet right? BT 6x9's can but are 4ohm.

So if i go with BT 6x9's do i need to run 2 PBR300x2 or can i run the SS TN4.900D?

The Pioneers are 4 ohm too.

You would want to either run two seperate pbr300x2's or the Soundstream. Just keep two things in mind. The tn4.900 will have to be mounted in your saddlebag, and you will more than likely lose all FM reception. You could also use the 4.520. That could be mounted in the fairing, but you will have the same radio reception issues.

Will that sound good since the BT 7.1 (2 ohm) will get 150x2 and the 6x9's (4ohm) will only get 100x2 ? with the PBR300x2's.

Ok so basically comes down to the SS pn4.520D or 2 PBR-300x2's both will be 100x4 on 4ohm speakers.
Will the PBR's both fit in fairing?

Yes. You can either trim your fairing gauge supports on the back of the inner fairing and squeeze both on top of your radio, or you may be able to use this:

I'm still trying to get confirmation in another thread that the 7.1's will fit with the bracket, but I think it will. I wouldn't order it until confirmed.

Another poster says they will work together per UltraNutz. I'll have him confirm this.

Is been confirmed. With a slight modification of the bracket it will work with the 7.1's.
