Default Installing 2014 Infotainment in 2012 Ultra

Has anyone looked at installing the new blue-tooth infotainment in an older bike? I would really like to toss SENA and just use blue-tooth CB, GPS, audio, and intercom from one source. Thanks for the help!

You'd be better off just buying the '14 if you want the infotainment system. The inner fairing, outer fairing and forks are different so it wouldn't be easy to swap. You could go aftermarket and replace you're inner fairing with a double din hole and put a GPS unit in it, but that won't be cheap.

I was afraid of that. Are you saying they make an aftermarket inner fairing that will except a GPS that you could mount the infotainment device in? Thanks for the reply-

Yes, or you can get a flip out head unit that fits a single din slot (which is what I am swapping to now). Or, you could just get a $10 bluetooth adapter and plug it into the aux port on the HK unit. Then, use your phone for all of the "infotainment" that you need. I have a phone mount on my handlebars and thats what I do. I am now in the process of swapping head units. It is a whole hell of a lot cheaper than getting a new bike just so I can have "infotainment".

After you are done, post a review of the unit you are installing. I thought about installing a flip out, but didn't think I would be able to see it in the daytime.
