Just finished a day in the garage of running wires and figured I'd give the system a simple test before tucking everything away and mounting the amp in it's new home above the HU.
I put the fuse in the positive cable that runs to the amp by the battery after hooking everything up. Flip the ignition over to Acc. and the head unit lights up. I walk around the front to check on the amp and the protection light is on. Power light is not lit.
I just went through and checked all my connections and wiring. I'll be damned if I can find an issue.
Suggestions would be very welcome!

When that happened to me it was some strands of wire grounding out at the amp. The negative and positive wires sit very close together on the soundstream and you have to make dam sure no strands are hanging out anywhere. I'm not saying this is your issue. But it's something to check. Basically just go back through and check ALL your wiring again to see if anything is grounding out. You can miss it real easy. or it can be something as simple as the fuse.

Pulled all speaker wires from the output side of the amp. Protection light stays on. Removed RCA inputs and light comes on and goes off. Power light never turns on.
I did some additional trials with the pre-amp input cables and the protection light does come on. I swapped the set of RCA's with another spare set and now I'm able to get the light from coming on. Still though the power light has not illuminated at any point.
I have verified polarity to all four speakers and made sure I don't have a cut in the sheathing anywhere on the runs.
The one item I have no way to test or see if its part of the issue is the Biketronics module but everything it's supposed to do. Handcontrols, radio power etc seem to be fine.
I suppose it's also possible I have a bad amp..This has been quite the challenge.
Any additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes we're too close to a project and can't step back to see what we're missing...

Sorry man sounds like a major PITA . . All you can do at this point is take the amp back to basic power, ground and remote lead. If you still have an issue in this state you either have a defective amp or there's metal to metal contact somewhere in the install. I've hooked up a bunch of these for my friends and that has been my experience. This is the point I usually reach out to Nutz if I can't figure it out. . .
Okay guys here's the latest. I still for the life of me cannot get the power light to illuminate on this amp. I have pulled and re-run my power to the battery. Verified my ground on the vertical fairing brace and used a 16Ga. wire for the turn on lead.
Now when I turn on the acc. switch the amp protection light lights up and turns off three times and stays off but no power light. I hooked the fairing speaker leads and plugged in RCA inputs for the front left/right. Same light sequence so I think this is better but I'm still concerned that the amp maybe bad especially as the power light does not come on.
