Default Installing the BOOM! Audio 6.5" Speakers

Is there any wiring involved in just replacing the 5.25" speakers with the 6.5". I know that the 6.5" have a twitter so there maybe some additional wiring required for the crossover.

Thank you for your assistance.

Im confused as to what you are asking or what it is that you have. Are you saying you have a boom system? Or are you saying you just want to upgrade? If you are just looking to upgrade to a 6.5, there are a bunch of options that everyone uses that dont need to be wired different due to crossovers. Most of the speakers have crossovers built in. The popular choices are kappa 62.11i, biketronics, and maybe the pioneer ts-d1702. All are great options for 6.5s but the biketronics ones are also available in 7.1

I have a 2104 Limited and I am considering to just change the speakers with the upgrade version of 6.5" no amp just speakers. The Harley Davidson speaker upgrade.

Oh...well, I have no idea about the 2014s and if the speakers will work or not. Im guessing to get a pair of 6.5s and try it out. Im sure someone else will chime in shortly...
