Default System Plans

OK last year I install a Hogtunes AMP and Speakers in my 13 FLHX
Ijust installed the BT7.1t his week and Hogtunes amp still in there. Sounds allot better but the amp can't drive the BT7.1 ,So as not to waste time & money I order the bt4180 and next will be HT lids with the titan2 6x9's than after that I plan on Iron cross audio mods with 2 preamp outputs ,I hear the new mod is 4 volts
Bill at Biketronics had one on his desk and plans to start running test with it, he said last week when I ordered the 4180.

It will cost,But it will rock with a lifetime warranty.

Is the a better choice than the titans II 6x9 In the hogtunes lids?

Not a better choice when you consider durability and lifetime warranty. Hard to beat.

That's what prompted me to buy the BT7.1's was the lifetime warranty.

Default Stage 2

Well Stage 2 will be coming UPS Tomorrow, Man I feel like a kid again LOL.
So First was replacing the hogtunes speakers and it made a marked impression on the system sound quality . But I wonder which stage will make the biggest improvement. What will the Iron cross preamp outputs do to the sound quality.

Gan so you are planing 1440 Total RMS BT System. I quess if you are then I am the Jr model LOL

LOL. . Yes Sir. . . I've known forever that the BT system is the best out there for a bike with the right amps of course. But I kinda made a hobby out of trying every system I could possibly think of before I break down and buying the BT system. Like a few guys on this forum I like to tinker in the garage and I get a big kick out of trying new speakers and amps just to see how it sounds. Nothing like turning the stereo on with a new set up!!!

Ditto! I'm running the Pioneer 6 X 9's (Courtesy of GP) and the Infinity 62.11i 6.5 in the Upper and lower fairing. Kicker KSC67 in the rear pods. But the Rockford fosgate T1693's, Infinty 693.11i, Kicker KSC693's and the Hertz HCX 690 are all awesome speakers for the lids. Pioneers and the Kickers have the most bass. Hertz, Rockford and Infinity for clarity. Head unit is the Sony DSX-S310BTX. Courtesy of my favorite Guru Ultranutz! But like my friend AAWAV says, The HAT speakers are calling me this fall/winter. My speaker and amp shelf life is very short. . LOL!!

Default Stage 2

Well the 4180 is installed. Sounds great just stuffed the speaker nice and clean, tomorrow I'll install fairing and long ride shield. Can't wait to start saving some cash for the lids ,after I pay off the balance for the amp.

Do the Hogtunes lids need adapters for each 6x9's brand? or is it just for the titanII tweeter bridge needs them?

thx Guys
Oh are these other speaker waterproof? like the titans?

The Hog Tune lids will accomodate all the 6 x 9's I mentioned and any other conventional 6 X 9. No adaptor needed. Fits like a glove. Need clarification on the Titan 2 you speak of? Are we talking the Biktronics BT479HT rear lid and speaker kit?
