Default Can I Do This?

I have a 2014 SGS with the 6.5 system. I've installed a Cerwin Vega B2 amp and two Kicker KSC65's. The speakers are 4 ohm, 100 watt RMS and the amp is rated 250 x 2 @ 2 ohms and 150 x 2 @ 2 ohms.

My dilemma, if you want to call it that, is that I found a screaming deal on a new king tour pack with the pods yesterday on CL and I want to install two more speakers. I've already purchased two additional Kicker KSC65's and I was told that it shouldn't be a problem just running them in parallel on the existing two channel amp. I don't mind not having fade controls because I plan on putting the full Ultra Classic setup, which includes the volume control in the rear, but someone told me that I may want to avoid installing the rear volume control because it may alter the resistance in the line and have negative effects on the amp.

I'm not familiar with the wiring/system used for this setup. Will the way I'm looking to install it cause problems? I don't necessarily want to fork over the money for a new 4 channel amp if I can use my existing amp with no problems. Any other problems I may not have thought about?

I don't have a '14, but unless something was changed in relation to the way the volume rocker works on the a Ultra and Limited bikes, the volume rocker only effects the headset volume. It won't enable the passenger to lower or raise the radio volume playing through the tour pack speakers.

Ok, I was under the impression that it was for speaker volume. Thanks for clearing that up. I guess we'll let the old saying about making assumptions apply here

No biggie. Other than that, you're good to go running both sets in parallel off that amp.

I've been running four boom speakers with a J&M 250 2 channel amp for years and it works fine. When the tour pack is attached and the rear speakers are connected you will get a slight decrease in the front speakers because your taking some of the power away to drive the rear but its not bad at all.

It's worked fine for me for years but I have finally broke down and ordered a new 4 channel amp and better speakers.

Have you had any issues with FM signal loss using the CV b4?

I really don't know, I never listen to FM. I've never noticed a problem with reception during that transition phase where FM radio is playing while I'm plugging in my iPhone.
