Hey I'm hoping some of you could share the costs of the 3yr warranty you purchased. In BC my cost was $2069.23 on a 3rd year. I personally find it outrageous and wanted to find out if others have paid a similar amount. Thanks for sharing...
I had my bike under warranty for as long as I could, I got mine through a guy in the states that $1,600 plus US so it worked out. I was also doing 20k km a year so for me it worked out great. Something would go wrong and they would fix a few other things at the same time. Blew a lifter on a trip and they replaced oil pump too. Also several trips back for compensator, really good service manager he kept the shop busy with both warranty work and full price work. Now I have no warranty and everything is fine, had to change stator and some electrical but did it myself. You really have to factor in how much you ride and how you ride. These days laid back crank the tunes and enjoy, warranty days nail it whenever I had the chance.

@Jim Palmer - MotorcycleAgent.com is who you need to talk to for an aftermarket ESP that would cut that cost in half. Harley’s ESP prices are negotiable, but still outrageous (like you found out).
It was required to get the 1.99% finance rates. I called the finance department and ts only $750 for an additional 2 years so I'm gonna pay that to have 5yrs total coverage... Thanks for the input guys

$2000+ for essentially 1 additional year of coverage? You need to cancel that ASAP and get your refund before the proration keeps climbing.
The plans we offer at www.motorcycleagent.com are valid throughout the US and Canada. The Compass Platinum Plan for 2 additional years is only $975. For the money you spent, you could get the 6-Additional Year plan (8 total years from factory warranty start date).
If you decide to cancel your current policy, the selling dealership will need to process the form.
We offer discounts for: HD Forum Members, Military Veterans, and First Responders.
