Well pulling the bike up to New Brunswick was a great idea. We rode to Carleton Quebec yesterday. This is where my ancestors landed in the mid 1700s there is a nice memorial for the Acadiens first settlers there and Carleton Sur Mer is the oldest city in North America. Tomorrow we are riding to Baddeck Nova Scotia, spending the night and in to do the Cabot Trail Wednesday. We can manage this in 2 days from My home area of Bathurst NB. Will take pictures.

989 miles in 2 days was a nice stretch but I was epic. We stayed in Baddeck at the Telegraph house. Nothing fancy but clean and effective. We ate at the Cable House restaurant on site. Farm to table. All local products, even the Glen Breton 10 year old Scotch which was freaking awesome. Fresh haddock, free range chicken, toffee pudding off the charts.
We took the 2nd entrance because we couldn’t do the whole loop and wanted to do the eastern slope. Looks more like Scotland which is what she wanted to see. Next time we will do it whole but with the cage. It was hard on the body. We pushed ourselves a bit I will say. Worth the effort.
