i dont know which is this cross bracket.
Could you send me an example picture?
maybe is that
Where does this bracket goes?
If you don't have a factory service manual you can see diagrams of your carb etc on a parts website, which shows the carb and air filter, also the pilot jet. The words 'for starters' is simply an expression meaning to use that size of jet first.
Pilot jet is the also called the slow jet or slow speed jet. Online parts diagrams like the one grbrown linked to above. It should show you how the carb is mounted to the cylinder head/manifold using some type of mounting plate or bracket. YD
hi I have a softail Classic 93 with the orgiginal carb (sealed) and sometimes when you have an explosion (normal) the carb is ejected or it moves from the rubber ring
NOT NORMAL. Carb should not have explosions or come unseated from the o ring.
As mentioned the air cleaner backing plate screws to the carburator and bolts to the heads at the breathers. Seeing that you are not in the USA, we all highly suggest you get a Factory Service Manual as well as a Factory Parts manual...
Hi. I want to adjust my carb with the adjustments screw, BUT theres is a tap or seal that doesnt allow me to adjusts the screw

That seal is quite thin and can easily be removed, just take care when doing so. I removed my carb to do this and carefully drilled a small hole through it, then used a thin screw-driver to lever it out. There is a small brass screw underneath, which is the adjuster you want to expose. As for a drill, I used a hand-turned one, not an electric one, so that I didn't punch through the seal and damaged the screw. Also remember that the carb body is made of soft alloy and can be easily damaged, so take care at every stage! It a job that doesn't take long to do.
Is the rubber ring that connects the carb to the intake in good shape? If it's leaking air in that could cause a lean condition and coughing like you describe. I wouldn't jump into changing the jets yet! Is the intake backing plate in good shape? I can't imagine how the carb is coming out from the intake!
