Default Pogo Seat Replacement

Just wondering if anyone knows of a replacement seat for the Buddy on a pogo. I would just like to see what the bike would look like with a seat that's closer to the frame. Here is a picture of the bike I'm finishing up and as you can see the seat is prettey high. If you have any pictures or can point me to some I sure would appreciate it. Thanks

MoCo actually made the eqivalent of a frame-mounted seat from 58-78. It is rather oblong and narrow.I have one that came w/ my 76 FLH. I have never mounted it cuz I like the comfort of the HUGE buddy seat. If you have a parts manual for 41-84 FLH models it is on page 148.

Thanks, Il had a look at the manual and saw that one. I was wondering if anyone had a custom seat that looked pretty good.

I cut the post and it still works until you hit the big bumps, the photo is still higher than the final cut, now it looks like its on the frame, if you wish I can send a close up of how I cut the pole and bracket

nice job, thats a sweet ride.

cut post to lower seat
I am 200lbs so when I sit it goes lower and still works good, I only feel the big bumps, then it bottoms out but not on the frame the post hits the bottom not the seat

If you pull the pogo out there is a set of three springs in there. If you remove 1 of the 2 smaller ones it will lower the seat and still function. You can alsoput a valve spring around the top of the seat post to assist in functionality.
