Default Ultima fat bastard 250 frame

My wife wants me to build a bike for her. I was looking at the fat bastard 250 softail.
I want to upgrade my 07 wide glide at the same time so she will get my front end.
Anybody here used this frame before?

I'm thinking about building a bike with ultima parts also. Still undecided on what. This will be my first, so I thought I better stick to a kit type build. I already have build sheets. Let me know what you do

Ive never personally owned one, but a but built one of their kits about 10 years ago. Had an Ultima 114 on it I think. Anyway, after a particularly hard night of riding and what not, we realized that he had broken a rocker arm mount. Still ran, even with the pushrod literally lifting the rocker box off the motor. So we went through the Taco bell drive through and dealt with it in the morning. Ultima warranteed the motor, and overnighted him a complete head / pushrod / lifter...all the crap that was in that chain of distruction. I was impressed with the motor running continually while it was actively grenading AND by the company for standing by their stuff.

I bought an Ultima fat bastard kit bike years ago. 200 tire, not 250. Other than vibrating so bad it would put your hands to sleep it wasn’t bad. It was a cheap kit and poorly assembled by the previous owner but was good looking and fun.
