Here's some more progress, this is with the frame and the foot foot board struts painted. I think the extentions and the oil cooler mount blend in fine now that theyre all the same color.

Went with penitol on the bare steel, the idea grew on me as I looked at it when mocking it up.

And mixed with a little petrol you can run it in your motor as well..

Looking good....

That Coopercoat that TwiZted brought up is some good ****.. I've reused Evo head gaskets with that.. 10.8:1 comp and never had an issue..

I haven't posted in a while, the details that needed doing just weren't worth posting. So here we are, nearly ready for the first start up. I lack an oil fill plug, a gas cap, and some new plug wires to reach the far side plugs, and then I'll turn it over and we'll see what happens.

Going to make timing the beast a bit entertaining unless you made provisions for an external system of some kind.

Nice work so far.

Yeah yeah, I thought about that too, but with the Ultima or a Dynatek don't really need it anymore I guess...

We'll see, it came with the dyna s ignition and I set the ignition by the static timing procedure in the instructions for that unit. The oil return setup was already that way,

Open belt primary. Easy to time with a white grease pencil and a dialback timing light.
