Well I'm on to another project, bought this ultima frame from Jireh Cycles cheap so here I go again. Came with a 2" rise and a 34 deg. neck.
That's just not going to be enough...
Bought this motor on ebay, had good luck so far with ebay motors. The numbers add up to a good performer if everything was put together right. Claims to be stroked and sized to be a 96" with duel plugs, S&S jugs and pistons, etc. we'll see...
Decided I can't live without a tall raked frame so I cut this one, changed it to 6" over and a 42 deg. rake (there about). The ultima neck has way too much metal to cut loose, so it's easier to redo the tubing.
Looks to be a sweet ride, Love the stance... The back bone adjustments make it look like a Hardtail, Nice lines...
Finally bough a home after 10 years on Condo living and should be moving in next week and after a few minor changes to the home I'll have a garage to start my first build... Can't Waite...

So I agonized over whether to go with original 4 speed or not... finally went the easy way with a new ultima 6 speed. Out here where everything is miles away and the highway speeds are 75 or better, I figured I'd be happy with an overdrive gear. I had this trany on my rigid and it worked good, and the price is unbeatable.
