Bobber build...
So the first question, already answered, was matching a 5-speed tranny from a 96 Road King to a softail frame... gotta change the case. Got it.
Now, I'm looking at a heritage frame on ebay... 93, but I don't know for sure that my 96 evo will fit in it. How can I know before buying it?

I believe the Twinkie's didn't start coming out until '99. As long as the motor mounts are the same, it shouldn't be an issues. If you do get the frame, and the motor mounts are different, you'll have to have new bungs welded to accommodate the '96 motor.
