Got any salvage yards in your area? That's where I found mine. They do occasionally show up on craigslist, eBay and the Motorcycle Trader. Maybe an Indy shop will have a line on one. There is a thing I get in the mail everyday called the Pennysaver, it is a local advertising rag with all kinds of stuff for sale in it. Got anything like that in your area?
Right here on this forum there is a for sale section.
There is a joint called Rich's Parts\\; here's the website. Maybe he's got something you want.
Good luck.

Hey guys,I just found a web site (www.carfrom.us) by browsing around one day and it was really interesting. There are many salvage/totaled bikes and cars that may be repaired/or good to start a project or just to part out. They arent selling the cars actually, its more like, you tell them what you are willing to pay and they go to the auction and bid for you with your offer. Your not garunteed to win anything, but from they say your chances are high. Wouldnt hurt to try it if you are interested in something you like. As far as I know they may ship purchased vehicle from auction to to wherever you are.
no connection to me, just thought somebody might be interested.
There is a guy about 30 miles south of Atlanta, Ga. that literally has a "barn" full of HD's. He goes to auctions weekly and buys every one he can. Some are rebuildable wrecks, some only the engines are the only thing worth using. I've been to his shop a couple of times and was amazed at the stuff he has. PM me and I'll send you his number.
I have built my last 3 Road Kings off Ebay, the last one so far costing almost half of what the one before costs. What makes it easy for me is being in no hurry and winter. There are good deals all the time, you just need to have a plan and know what you are looking for.You never want to pay too much for an item.Good Luck
