Decompression Valve....do I have?

No starter relay. Just a push button on the starter itself.

Can you run a small lead, say about 20 ga wire, from the solenoid and install a relay?
Then hook the compression releases to the relay outputs.
Run a lead from the battery, thru a fuse, to the relay, and then to the solenoids.
The current draw of a small relay will be minimal, and that should prevent the solenoid from acting up.
The power wire from the battery to the relay needs to be at least one, and maybe two, sizes larger than the leads on the individual solenoids.
For what ever reason, as soon as I try and rob "start" power off the solenoid, even with a relay, it holds the starter on until I pull the wire. I am trying to use the terminal that normally is used as the "s" power \\;terminal from a relay. I pulled the solenoid apart as well, but it all looks good. Like i said, it is fine until I try and put a wire on the "S" terminal.
For the time being (which will prob be permanent), I hooked back into the manual on/off switch. Maybe if I blow another solenoid then I will convert back to a normal pushbutton on the bars.

You must have something different going with your bike.Mine wired to the single starter switch wire on the solenoid works great.Maybe the reason why yours is wired that way.Good Luck
