I'm putting in a kill switch for the motor on a 1989 flt. I wired the coil as follows, 1st wire of coil to positive side of a rocker switch (with an accessory hookup) and the 2nd wire of the coil to the negative side to the rocker switch. Apparently this doesn't work. I get no spark. Any ideas or wiring schematic? The bike has been converted to a pushbutton start.
