Default My Bobber

Well things have been slow going and I was not going to start a thread on my bike until I had a little bit more complete, but I had a change of hart.

So here are a few pictures of my scoot:

21" in the front, 18" in the rear, kicker HD 4 speed, 100" RevTech, BDL 2" primary, Fatbob tanks, Oval oil bag, (not the one in the picture) and 39mm front end.

I recently got some free time and mounted my rear fender, oil tank, rear brake, and license plate bracket. I hope to get the frame finished in the next few weeks so I can send it out to be powder coated soon.

I will try to get a few more pictures this week or next...

Thanks guys...
My wife just had our baby so I have been busy with that, but I am making time for the bike when I can. I am going to head over to the shop in the next few days to work on it. I should have some new pictures by then...

I am still trying to decide on a color for the frame. I think I am going to powder coat it a dark bronze color. I want to do a little color but nothing too catchy, just something noticeable to those that are looking.

Any thoughts on mid controls over forward controls? I am leaning towards mid controls.

Spent a few hours at the shop today, I did not work on my bike but took a few pictures of the rusty beast.

I agree with you 12pack, forward controls do look a lot cooler. I was thinking about doing mids for comfort reasons. Decisions, decisions...

After some thought, I decided to go with mid controls. I really like the look of forwards but I think the mids will give me a little more comfort. If I decide I don't like the mids, I can always put forwards on.
