Goldwing (brat/Cafe) build
got alot done last night, may not look like it but alot of fab work had to be done
first had the lower tree in he freezer for2 days. made pressing the new timpkin lower bearing on, the upper bearing is all *****

then the lowers. I had to shave out the damper support a bit to work on these forks.. but it worked... i dropped th insides of the forks 1.2 inches, used progressive springs, for fork oil i did a blend, it is 80% 15w and 20% 10w, this will still support the weight of the heavy bike for a nice ride but still let it rock the turns in the most agressive manner she can!
the headlight block i made did not fit, so i had to rework that a bit, it was also putting the lamp a bit high so i had to knock down the block a bit as well to get it centered but all in all, one of my fav front ends we have ever done.. the flat black trees look insane next to the texture flat frame

made a tab to fit under the tank, i have 2 more tabs that will bolt to the side of the seat and to the frame rails to pull it nice and tight to follow the lines the bike has naturally, but that needs to be added later

spray glued on the 2 in foam

some of the markings to ensure it is level on all sides as it is shaped

seat shaped...

just have to put some final wrap on the seat to smooth it all out, then pick the fabric we are going to wrap this sucker in... i think black micro fiber will be the winner
