Mequires Sratch X followed by a nice coat of Mequier's NXT Tech Wax for me..Just beautiful.Been reading a lot of 3dog's old posts.. That man knows his business.. Thank you Dog!!
Having tried most every product that has come on the market over the last thirty years or so I have found the Mothers product line to be as good as any thing The clay bar for any scrathes, followed by the 1,2,3 step product line. I have a can of the 100% carnuba wax for years now, i love their chrome polish also.I find S100 engine brightner is also a good product for the black motor on my Softail and also adds some luster to the silver motor on my screamin Eagle road glide too. I know some people dont want to spend that much time cleaning thier rides, I find it time well spent, not only does the bikes look great after the process, but i get to have a real up close look at parts...bolts...wiring and other systems I might not look at otherwise, So I get a chance to make any repairs, or replacements i may be needing to keep the bikes running tip top................My all time favorite products where the Blue coral line of the 60's and 70's....hard work....but man that stuff was awesome on the old Corvette
When I got my sleg it had been in a shed, covered up for 2 yrs, but had 4K in tin and paint. I got Meguiars Deep Crystal 1-2-3 system and had nice results, but I wanted more depth to the shine. A friend turned me onto Meguiars claybar-#7-#26. I can hardly take photos its so shiny. I don't know about you, but I can find $20 or$30 for my bike to turn heads for a couple years. Just my thoughts. Ride safe and look good!
Yur not gonna believe it. Lemon Pledge furniture polish. Use it on my show bike.and have one many shows. If you got swirls in your paint you wont see them after you put that stuff on! My buddy has a huge motorcycle show room and uses it on all the new bikes.
I use the S100 carnuba wax it is combined with a beeswax and appies easily and rubs off easily and will not leave any white wax marks on the bike. It is fairly inexpensive also.
If you want a cheap, over the counter wax I would go with Meguiars 26 or 16. Both are great carnaubas for about $10. S100 is also great, easier to use, and it's about $16 a bottle. There's a reason Meguiars and S100 cost a little more than Turtle wax...

If you can find Mequiars #16 for 16 bucks you need to ****** up every bit of it. Last I saw of it was around 50.00. Great product but discontinued.
Kit wax. You can find it at any autoparts store for around $5. It is a wax not a cleaner like some Turtlewax products. gives a great shine and good protection.
Probably needs to be in a different thread, because it ain't cheap. I just got Glare polish for 55 bucks for 2 bottles and was amazed at the shine it put on my paint. I was floored when I saw what it did to the chrome and overall can't imagine anything possibly shining better. Supposedly protects for 5 years, but I certainly won't test it that long.
Not the easiest product to use and you need at least 2 coats.
For cheap, I vote for Eagle One nano which is real easy to wipe off and sprays on,or good old Pledge.
