I did this bike last week. I got the lift about a month or so ago and its been awesome. 2 cam jobs and 2 bikes, the lift has earned its cost for
sure. The other bike I only got 1 picture and being Bonneville salt, it doesnt ahow much
Both bikes got Gyeon Pure Evo after being polished out. Topped with Gyeon Cure
Looks great. Is Gyeon replacing cosmic angel/high gloss (I think that's the right name) as your go to for bikes or was it just the right product for these bikes based on paint condition etc? How is it for ease of use for a relative beginner compared to cosmic angel?

I used this coating because I had it on hand from another bike, Apex paint scheme, I did about a month ago.
Ive used this coating a lot in the last year, so its not hard at all because of that.
One thing to mention about it. When I did the Apex bike it was extremely humid here. A ton of fog and just nasty. When its that humid, this coating gets Pushed around when you go to level it. It can be a PIA. With that said, a lot of coatings would probably act the same way in those conditions

Not speaking for eaglefan as he is the pro here, but I can attest to Gyeon products being easy to use as a beginner. I had my first crack at doing a coating (is it a coating or a sealant ? Im still not clear on what the difference is lol) a while back and I would recommend them if this is your first time. I used Gyeon Prep and then Cancoat, very easy to use, just make sure you have plenty of light, because the CanCoat goes on clear and if its not buffed out properly will leave smears for lack of a better term the most important thing is to properly prepare your paint for any coating or sealant, clean, decontaminate, etc. When I did mine the first time(and the second) I asked a million questions, there are a few people on here that will give you really good advice, people that do this work for a living and know what works and what doesnt.
eaglefan1- what kind of lift is that? Not that Ill be picking one up anytime soon, it would look kinda funny in my driveway but one day Ill have a garage!

The lift is a Weaver 1500. I absolutely love it! Rock steady when all the way up with a bike on it.
