Polish in the detailing world is used to remove swirls and random scratches from the clear coat. Wax is the last stage product to protect the paint. The polish therefore will not be on the bike as that would be cleaned off with a cleanser product before applying the wax.
The wax can be removed by using a higher concentrate of a pre wash shampoo. Typically 4% mix is used but 10% will wash the wax off.
