Unhappy Spoke rims
What is the best way to clean all them freeking spokes,the rim is easy but I have like baked on brake dust on the spoke themselves.

If your bike is older than a 2005 model and has OEM wheels, you have cadmium plated spokes. Ain't nothing gonna make 'em shine. They turn battleship gray with age. Trying to polish them will only wear off the cad plating and lead to rust.

Motorcycle jack, several cotton cloths, bottle of windex, three hours, and a case of bud.

There are cleaning strips made especially for cleaning wire spokes.

try some turtle wax foaming wheel cleaner!

What are the spokes on the newer bikes?

In trying to check this out further, I think the profile option wheels have chrome spokes, but otherwise the spokes would still be cadmium plated, but I dont' know for sure.
