Excess polish...
I purchased my Harley from someone who was a bit sloppy when polishing it before I bought it. There are white specs on the speakers and leather, as well as the body. I tried to remove some of them with my fingernail, but that works only on the nonporous surfaces. Any ideas out there with what I can use to remove the specs? Thank you...Gary.
Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. For the seat try some Vinylex. You can get it at Pep Boys. Apply it and let it sit. But first scrub off the white polish. I am not sure what "body" you are referring to.

Try using an old soft tooth brush on your plastic areas and if that doesn't work use something like Simple Green or Castrol Suoer Clean. As for the painted areas try polishing and hollow with a good quality wax. Remember polish and wax are 2 different things. That should take care of your plastic and your painted surfaces.
