No wax needed. I just wash mine with car wash soap and inbetween washings I may use some quick detailer to get any dirt or spots off of it. That's it.

Meguires High Tech Yellow Wax, yep wax. Couldnt get the damn Colorado bugs off the texture with out scrubbing the Hell out of it. Once I finally did get them off I started waxing. Sure makes the bugs come off easy now. It changed the color just slightly but still has the demin dullness. Realy made the metalic pop though.

Yep its just a wax, but on the denim you need to build up a little, the flat paint takes a little more work the first few times. Use a lot of wax and rub it in good. Let it haze up and polish it off. It may streak a couple times since the paint is so "dry" but after a couple good coats it will look great!

Why on earth would you get denim paint if you want to make it shiny with wax? I've had my bike about 2 1/2 years now and the paint still looks like it did when I bought it.
No wax is needed, if you want to get bugs off the paint just use some bug and tar remover.
