Only buy towels made in the USA. Ones made overseas sometimes has some polyester in them which would add some swirl marks to your finish.
100% cotton made in USA or MF made in USA. If theirmade in China or Pakastan and sold for 4 bucks your pretty much getting ripped off. And even name brand towels at Wally World, are not always 100% cotten, yousould buy your towels from Bedbath and beyond or Linens and Things.
Why get ripped off even if its only $6?
