ya what hassle?? i got one on my 05' dyna and love it. if you can tune a carb and dont wanna deal with a labtop this is the route to go. good bang for the 200 bucks!!! very easy to tune as well made a world of differance
I had a HD race fueler on my 05 FXDLI, the shop "dialed" it all in and dyno'ed the bike, was never quite happy. Put the dfo on and got a couple of rides in before this late winter came. Followed the suggested set up values on the pots and the bike will really rip now. Am I satisfied .
They are pretty good at service too. I gotDobeck 1340 st 16 months ago and recently built motor. They are going to send me an updated unit preprogrammed for my build....SOUNDS GOOD TO ME...Never got the PC3 set right on bagger - dyno computer power supply blew up on last run...didn't like the idea of not using o2 sensors on the PC3...
IMO, themanually adjustable units like the Cobra FI2000CL and the Dobeck TFI are definitely the way to go. Get's the dealer out of your pocket for future downloads.

TFI is easy to use, 1 button tuning...... no computer, no MOCO, no downloads, no problems.
I believe the guy that dreamed it up also invented the Dyno Jet........ Check me on this.
If I were to go away from the TFI, I would purchase a "self-tuning" system with wideband 02 sensors.
