The lower the intake duration, the lower the rpm that the torque builds and the 255's at 211 degrees are low indeed. Personally I think that cam is better suited to a 900 lb bagger that carries 2 up regularly.
The Dyna would fly at an intake duration b/w 225 and 235 degrees IMO. Several good choices out there that fit those specs.
so basicly the 254e would be a better choice since they put 224/234degre duration intake/exhaust?
I get the screaming eagle parts for cheap so that's why I'm talking about them, if money wasn't an issue I would definatly go with all the other brand out there
254e is terrible. If you must stick with se I'd run the 204. I've run them with those pistons and a .045" head gasket, they always make great midrange tq. I've also run them in a 97" @ 10:1 with a street port and made 95/110.
