I recently saw a set of forwards advertised on Ebay from a US seller. They are a third of the price of the genuine HD ones and were very easy to install..in under an hour. For me forwards are the way to go as I have been getting cramps with the standard mids.
I was sceptical at first with the quality and fitment but I have to say they fitted straight on with ease and feel very sturdy.
As you can see from the pictures, the gear linkage runs from the existing location rather than having to take everything apart and leaving a hole like the OEM forwards.
Any updates on these after they have been on awhile? also they look to be pretty set with the pegs they come with. Is it a standard footpeg or a one off design. I like the idea of not having to remove the primary
they appear to stick off slightly further than HD forwards. I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger as i like the quick convertibility if i wanna put mids back on. Just don't want to buy and end up buying HD versions down the road

I'm sure the pegs can be swapped for different ones if need be as they appear to be a standard design.
The instructions came in the form of a couple of drawings but it really was a simple fit but you must use some sort of thread lock such as Loctite to keep the screws and bolts from working loose. I mocked them up finger tight off the bike first and then fitted them.
How does ur bike shift with these forward s they look good do they shift good go into gear easy don't miss gears and how much u pay for em
No problems shifting. I find to get into neutral from first I just need to gently tap the peg. When I first fitted them I went into first and then couldn't move up the gears. I adjusted the shifter rod and I was able to use all the gears. I made sure that I had the bike in Neutral when I took the original shifter off and fitted the new one in the same place on the splines but it still needed slight adjustment.
