If this method works for you, then more power to ya...but this splice method is almost as bad as just twisting the wires together and wrapping with tape...I have traced down more open circuit and intermittent problems that were caused by failures of these two methods of splice connections than any other...

Default how to route wires.

What is the best way to route your wires to the side mount liscense plate. I dont think its smart to splice into main wireing harness so that means im splicing at the tail light. What is the best way to send wires from tail light to axel nut liscense plate

Use a sheath flexible wound SS cable shield. http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-ca...eeving/=vevqzu reference http://www.mcmaster.com/#1478t1/=vevrl6 Drill entrance holes and flare shield on back side. Do your homework carefully and mock it up on bike including the fasteners that retain it to the bike..
