Default Adjustable Pushrods Bleed-out Help

I was installing adjustable pushrods, and adjusted both (on rear cylinder). I then remembered after about 5 minutes you could only do one at a time so I loosened the intake and left the exhaust bleeding. The exhaust bled out after 20 minutes and spun freely so I adjust the intake 20 flats at 0 lash, waited 20 minutes and it was still tight. I'm assuming that was a little too far since it had started bleeding before, so I backed it off 3 flats until it spun with the same ease of the exhaust. Am I correct with what I did or am I screwed now? Is there a way to check before starting the bike?

I would loosen them all up and start over. Some of mine bled in 5 minutes and some of them took 15 minutes.

They're S&S adjustables. I see the error of my ways after I thought about it for a few minutes. You're right HD Wrencher, I'll just reset both rods and let the lifters go back to their natural resting state and redo them. Thanks.
