Just got a new to me 2012 wide glide and plan on getting the V&H big radius 2 into 1 exhaust. I really like the sound and looks but with so many options out there I thought I would check here and see how you guys that have them like them. Any body regret buying them? Here is what it looks like now.
I totally agree with OldE fugly fuglier and fugliest. They make me think V&H made them just to like like something out of the pop 70's era, and they don't suit modern bikes at all... IMO
Came on the Fat Bob I bought a couple of years ago; I liked the looks but they were too loud and did poorly on the dyno. I now run an RB Racing black hole and couldn't be happier; pricey but made to order, very high quality and acceptable sound level for touring
It looks like it has a set of Cycle Shack slipons (slash-outs) on it now. That is what I have on my 2014 Wide Glide. I like how they sound and the price was right. They are not real loud, but when you crank it on, it gives out a healthy bark. You could de-cat it and get a little healthier bark. I do not care for the look of the Big Radius 2-1. IMHO.
I believe you have to remove the right rear passengers foot peg mount using that exhaust. might want to check on bracket for rear passengers foot peg on exhaust side. some have made a bracket but your right foot sets higher than your left. kind of awkward way to ride!
