Yea, I've been there. Seems silly to stop 50-100 miles from home. It's one of the few times I'll ride after dark.

700 miles or 10 hours, which ever comes first.

550 miles from Long Island to Roanoke Virginia. Two up with t bars, drag pipes and no windshield on a pretty stock (at the time) 1997 Wide Glide. Two days later we were in Atlanta, with lots of sight seeing in-between.

Next trip was similar mileage to Virginia Beach, then to Myrtle Beach, two days from LI. Had a new Corbin seat for that ride, that made a big difference. Still no windshield.

Someone said it earlier, it is the hours not the miles. Faster you go the further you can ride. Road conditions, traffic, weather, speed limits, all contribute to how far you can go.

Two years ago, I rode home from Sturgis to Indianapolis, 1186 miles in just under 24 hours. I wanted to earn the Iron Butt Award. Glad I did it, but don't want to do it again!

Last summer I rode about 950 miles in about 15 hours. Denver to Mesa on our way home from Sturgis. I've got a Corbin close gunfighter and Conleys tsport fairing.

Default 600 Miles

600 Miles 15 hours. Just stopped for Breakfast and gas. About 2 hours of rain from 4am - 6am.

I don't ride slow, it's just hard to ride fast while doing lots of curves, avoid on coming traffic as my countries roads are one lane each way where either vehicle can invade on coming vehicle's lane. Interstate roads are single lane and not split by barricades.

Guess I would do twice of that in the same time if it were like the states.

As an important note: I just loved and enjoyed the ride. Only problem was I had to go back to work the next day and all I could do was think about my next long road trip.

About 920 miles, from Kirkland, WA to Hawthorne, NV. I did 850 miles the next day, and just under 800 the day after that.

My longest ride last year was close to 200 miles round trip to meet my ol lady and kids at my father in laws house.. On my streetbob. There was a ton of traffic from road work (stop and go stop and go...) I was nervous as **** beacause it was my first trip on my first motorcycle. I had a 18 wheeler in front of me and one behind me. Haha talk about sweaty palms and a death grip. I plan on taking a lot more trips this year. I want to go to the smokey mountains or the beach, or both!

400 miles. From Concord NH to Philly PA on a 1999 FXDX with throw over bags, a T-bag, and the old lady on the back.
