Hi my name is danny and I have an 07 dyna streetbob and want to fit a 23 inch fat spoke rim in the front but can't seem to find anyone that makes them for my front end. Would I have to do a wide glide conversion? I really don't know where to start any help would be apriciated, thanks!
Did you check with Ride Wright wheels? They should be able to make any configuration you want.
Also check with site sponsor Hogpro wheels.
If you really can't find anyone to make you a fat spoke in that size, you can convert to wide glide trees for a couple hundred bucks.
I swapped trees on my Street Bob. But you could always just get a 23" hoop and new spokes laced to your stock hub. Here's my 23"x17 combo. It's a work in progress.
Also you can get a 23" fender blank from Russ Wernimont for about $150 and cut your own fender out if it. That's my plan.
Hogpro is pricing me out some Sinister Big phat daddy wheels, rotors and tires,23"/18" right now for my 11 Wg. I see setups for touring bikes all over ebay. What's the different ? Hub width ?
What size rear wheel and tire do u have? Did you change front or rear suspension height?
The rear is just a Deuce wheel with the hub bored out for the 1" axle...same rim size as stock with a 160/70 Michelin. i painyed it black for ease of cleaning since you don't really see it with my bags which are hard mounted.
The rear shocks are stock bagger air shocks that go about 13" tall, but i don't run that much air so probably 12".
Front has Ricor Intiminatorswith stock springs, but have slipped the forks as low as possible in the trees so the front is higher than stock setting...and the tank lift makes it actually look higher in the pic.
